The Story

 

Separated from Alfred, tossed into the deadly Dog Cage of Wenclas, and faced by the wrath of the blonde woman she had angered, Natir finds herself forced to fight for her life against impossible odds, all alone.


Alfred orders Natir found at any cost. To that end –and at a hefty price– he enlists the help of Gumarich, Lord of Wenclas. But Alfred is unaware that his longtime ally, Bertwin, the aging earl of the Ulaky, has his own plans for Natir, and has ordered his men to find her with the help of a local ally, for Bertwin wants to use Natir to bring Alfred under his thumb.


Volk, Teyrnon, and Gull –having caught wind of what happened to Natir– intend to rescue her themselves and without Alfred’s knowledge.


The race for who will get their hands on Natir first has begun.


But much more is happening in the shadows as fate brings Natir and Vael closer together –and should their paths collide, the dark forests of Bohemia will never be the same again...
